I heard today the results of the CT scan that I had on Monday. This was to check out a small lump that was found on my left lung during my first scan 12 weeks ago.
The good news is that this lump has disappeared and was therefore not in any way linked to the cancer. He did say there was a small inflammation on the right lung but this was nothing to worry about and not cancer related. He said that I should have another routine scan in 12 months time.
Jane and I are very relieved to hear this news.
Other good news - I went round in a very creditable 93 this morning - as compared with the 103 yesterday!! It was all very strange I had one birdie, bogies and double bogies but no pars. (Boring say the non-golfers!!)

Good news about the chemo so far and the clear lungs. Pity about the golf! We've just finished the first venue of our tour to two Church Halls in Hastings and two Village Halls near Hastings over the next few months. We're performing a dozen of our best sketches from the past (25 years this year!)with a one-act play by J.B.Priestley called The Rose and Crown. The first went well but pitiful audience. How do we get the churches to get out of their houses and bring their friends and family?! Anyway, enough about us, this is your blog! Good to see from your correct spelling of 'diarrhoea' that your brain hasn't been affected (what was that Jane?). Keep smiling, even when you're dribbling round the golf course.
