All is well in Florida.
We arrived on 4 January and despite some cool weather for the first 2 weeks have really enjoyed our return to our holiday home.
We have been busy getting the home straight, playing golf,
dancing (including ballroom dancing lessons), going to keep fitclasses, cycling, eating, going to the beach and generally enjoying life and socialising with our friends here.
We have planned a 3 day trip in February to see the Everglades, Key West and the east coast around Miami.
Charlotte is going to join us for two weeks at the beginning of March and we plan to visit the Disney Worlkd Magic Kingdom at the end of her stay. We return to the UK on 1 April when I will be looking for work for the summer.
Over the past two weeks my strength has returned and also my taste - I am now drinking beer (and putting on weight!!) There is still some residual numbness in my fingers and toes - but this should go in a month or so. I am due to have a routine visit to the specialist in May and then a CT scan in November - and then annual monitoring for a few years.
Well - this will be my last posting on this blog site.
I would like to thank all my family and friends for all their love and support during the last 10 months.
